The Handmaid’s Tale season 2 Trailer review, some unanswered questions, answered!

The Handmaid’s Tale season 2 is created, executive produced and written by Bruce Miller and stars Elisabeth Moss, Joseph Fiennes, Yvonne Strahovski, Samira Wiley, Alexis Bledel, Ann Dowd, Max Minghella, Madeline Brewer, O-T Fagbenle and Amanda Brugel.

The Handmaid's Tale season 2
The Emmy-winning drama series based on Margaret Atwood’s 1985 novel of the same name, returns with a second season shaped by Offred’s pregnancy and her ongoing fight to free her future child from the dystopian horrors of Gilead. “Gilead is within you” is a favorite saying of Aunt Lydia. In Season 2, Offred and all our characters will fight against—or succumb to—this dark truth.

The Handmaid’s Tale season 2 is set to premiere on Hulu on April 25. The new season will have 13 episodes (following season one’s 10), with Elisabeth Moss returning as the show’s fearless protagonist Offred and 2017 Emmy Winner Reed Morano returning as director.

The first image of June from Season 2 shows the mother-to-be covered in blood, as if from a head wound. Who would harm a pregnant woman in Gilead?
Joining the cast this season will be Veep star Clea DuVall and Oscar winner Marisa Tomei. DuVall joins the series as Ofglen’s (Bledel) wife Sylvia in a guest-starring role.

Offred will remain the show’s main focus, “Her spirit of rebellion and her careful march away from being a well-behaved handmaid and making some trouble is where the season is rolling towards. After that, season two is what happens after you become a little rebellious.”

What’s expected in season 2?
1. It is going to be more darker, intersectional and political than season 1.

2. Expect big shocks and bizarre scenes, such as Offred being best friends with Serena Joy or even a trip to the colonies.

3.Offred is going to get “rebellious”. We are definitely going to see the colonies.

4.The fate of other countries will be explored.

5. One of the handmaids is going to die.
