Few days back we heard the news of Qualcomm processor based Windows laptops. The work is already under progress for this, as at GeekBench website there is benchmarking of Windows 10 notebook based on ARM architecture.
From the benchmark results we can see that the Laptop is running on Windows 10 Pro operating system with 1.9 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 Octa Core processor with support of 8 GB of RAM. Under benchmarking results it scored from 1202 to 4263 points in single core and multicore test. As these laptops will be ARM based battery support will be better, user can do their multiple day work on single charge
Microsoft and Qualcomm has partnered with many companies for ARM based laptops, one of them is HP. Under HP Carepack Database, the laptop with Snapdragon 835 can be seen. Along with Snapdragon 835, the laptop features 12-inch display with two variants of 4GB RAM and 8GB RAM versions with 128GB and 256GB storage.
In the coming few weeks, we can see the debuts of the ARM based laptops. The sale for such devices is expected in December 2017
