The popular Call of Duty franchise is going to launch the another installment, Black Ops 4, which according to Activision, will be released on 12th of October on PlayStation 4, XBOX One and PC, and here is the news for the game mode of Black Ops 4. Polygon have reported that Black Ops 4 will not have a Campaign Mode. But instead it will be having a Battle Royale Mode, and according to the reports Raven Software is developing the new Battle Royale Mode. Yes, we all are surprised with this decision, as we were also expecting the same Campaign mode. But there are some reasons, for which the decision for creating a Battle Royale Mode have been made. According to the company the decision was made due to the time issues with the campaign mode, as the creators and the developing team knew it very well, that if they go for creating the campaign mode, then it wouldn’t be ready for the launch, so simply Activision decided to add a Battle Royale Mode to the game.
Black Ops 4 Battle Royale mode!
The new Battle Royale mode is being developed by the “4TH DEVELOPERS” for the Call Of Duty, Raven Software. And for now it’s unclear on the details about the COD’s Battle Royale Mode, but most probably it will be revealed on the 17th of May as the reveal for the Black Ops 4 is a community reveal. Talking about the rumours, Black Ops 4 is rumored to be set in a near future setting with boots on the ground combat and is said to be similar as Black Ops 2. Treyarch have been focusing on both multiplayer and zombies, with zombies apparently having more maps at launch compared to previous Black Ops installments.
Call of Duty : Black Ops 4 is scheduled to launch on 12th of October this year, for
PlayStation 4, XBOX One and PC. Company will be revealing more about the mode and other information on 17th of May.
