The California based-company Caterpillar (aka CAT) had recently introduced a new smartphone CAT S41 that holds the same toughness like its previous iteration.
CAT S41 if fall from 5 to 9 feet on a concrete floor can withstand it easily .The device can also stand intense heat, cold and is IP68 rated water and dust resistant.
The CAT S41 has a 5-inch full HD display with a resolution of 1080×1920 pixels and is supported with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. The display can also be used with gloves or wet fingers.The CAT S41 has an octa-core MediaTek Helio P20 processor which is clocked at 2.3GHz and paired with 3GB of RAM with 32GB of internal storage is at which is expandable up to 2TB with the microSD card.
The device has Android Nougat out of the box and is backed up with huge 5000mAh battery that promises to provide 38 hours of 3G talk time or 44 days standby. A textured back for extra grip is provided at the back of the phone and it comes with a special cable that will enable the handset to charge other devices with Battery Share power bank feature.
Taking about the cameras CAT S41 it has 13MP rear camera and a 8MP front-facing camera both of which can work underwater. The CAT S41 comes with a Shortcut Key that enables to start Push to Talk (PTT) service and quickly launch phone’s camera or flashlight.
