Google recently created the new Gmail with a redesigned interface and lots of extra features like it includes the direct option of certain apps like google keep, a new confidential mode, etc. The update is being rolled out in phases and will be available for all its users. How to Enable New Gmail UI on Personal Gmail Account

To enable the new Gmail UI on your account, follow the steps below:

  • First, you have to Sign in to your Gmail account and click on the ‘settings icon’ in the top right corner of your Gmail screen.
  • There, you will find an option ‘Try the new Gmail.‘ So, Click on it, and you’ll be taken to the new Gmail UI.

If you want to revert to old Gmail, you can do that anytime by clicking on the settings icon and then on ‘Go back to classic Gmail’ to go back to the old UI.

How to Enable New Gmail UI on GSuite Account

To enable the new Gmail UI on your GSuite Account, you will require requesting your admin to enable it from the Admin Console. In case you are the administrator, you can follow the steps given below:

  • First, go to the Admin Console and below the setting ‘New Gmail Early Adopter Program’ change the selection to “Allow my users access to the new Gmail UI and features.
  • Once this is done, then other users in your GSuite can set up new Gmail by simply clicking on the settings icon in their mailbox, and choose “Try the new Gmail” to experience the brand new UI. As mentioned above in How to Enable New Gmail UI on Personal Gmail Account
