One of the most awaited features has arrived for PlayStation users; now they can change their PSN ID at a go which is not possible earlier.
For years, PlayStation users were stuck with the PSN ID they created
at the time of account creation whereas Xbox users were able to change their name with a small fee.

With the new feature, PlayStation Online ID can be changed both on console and web browser.
How to change your PSN Online ID on PS4
1) Go to Settings
2) Click on Account Management > Account Information > Profile > Online ID
3) Type in your new online ID
4) Confirm the name

1) Login to your PSN account
2) Select PSN Profile
3) Type in your desired online name
4) Confirm the name
Will your new PSN ID work on Old games?
All PS4 games which have been released after April 2018 will support this name change, it may or may not work properly with games released before it.
How many times can you change your PSN Online ID?
You can change your PSN Online ID end number of times, but point to note here is that the first change is free, but after that, you have to pay a fee of $9.99.
