HTC has not displayed any flagship device at the MWC event but the company does not want to old back to lure it’s customers. The company is ready to turn the table with it’s new line up of the phone which is scheduled for May launch. The company will be launching a phone with code name HTC Imagine which will feature some solid specifications. One of the popular HTC ROM developer, LlabTooFer has shared the complete information of this device. As we have observed at MWC 2018, that everyone is focusing dual cameras and super slow motion photos, the company does not stay behind in the line. The device will be powered by the latest processor from the company Snapdragon 845 SoC which is likely to be released in two variants Single Sim or dual Sim which will be entirely dependent on the location of the sale of the phone.
The device will feature a stunning Quad HD+ resolution with a screen size of 5.99 inch display size. Along with the Snapdragon 845 processor the device will be supported with 6 GB of RAM, and will come with the internal storage of 256 GB
Focusing on the latest camera technology, the device will also feature dual camera setup at the rear end of the device. The primary camera of the device will be of 12 MP and with a secondary camera of 16 MP Sony sensor. Its secondary sensor might feature a telephoto lens. At the front of the device, it will feature an 8 MP camera sensor which will also support HTC FaceUnlock feature for fast unlocking of the device
The device will also get the IP68 certification which will protect it from dust and water. The device will get HTC customized Edge Sense 2.0.
The device will run on Android 8.0 Oreo which is currently latest stable version of the android. No details have been mentioned yet that the device will upgrade to Android P or not. The device will feature the battery capacity of 3420 mAh which will be enough to run the device for day long.
The device specifications seem pretty strong on the paper but it will be interesting to see how the device will perform when it will be launched. With so many brands doing their best and using novelty technologies to lure the customers it will interesting to see how the Taiwanese brand rise to customer expectations
