In a strange move by Huawei, the Huawei Nova 3, which was supposed to launch on 18th of July, is now available for pre-order in China. The phone is the newest attempt by Huawei to fit in Dual-camera setups on both the front and the back. The phone has specs similar to Honor 10.
Huawei Nova 3 Features
The Huawei Nova 3 features a 6.3 inch with a Full HD+ resolution. The phone’s display has a 19:9 aspect ratio with a notch cut out. The notch is quite small, like the OnePlus 6, and isn’t obtrusive. The Nova 3 also features a Kirin 970 chipset, Huawei’s own chipset. The chip combines high processing powers with AI specific computing. Not just that, the chipset also has a 4+4 processing set, with 4 high powered Cortex A73 cores and 4 low powered Cortex A53 cores.
Coming to the Nova 3 quad cameras, the dual rear cameras are just like those on the Honor 10. There is a 16MP main sensor and also a 24MP monochrome sensor. The combination results in enhanced low light photography results and an accurate Bokeh effect. On the front, there is another dual camera setup. The main sensor is a staggering 24MP, assisted by a 2MP sensor for Bokeh effect.
The Huawei Nova 3 features 6GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage, and we haven’t heard of any oher SKUs. The phone also packs a 3750 mAh battery, which along with Huawei’s AI processing, should result in a long lasting phone. The Huawei GPU Turbo Technology will also be supported right out of the box.
The phone looks and feels quite simialr to the Huawei P20 lite, Huawei’s upper mid-range offering. The phone has a lot going for it and with the price tag of 35000, the phone sure checks a lot of boxes. We highly recommend it. What are your thoughts about it? Let us know below!
