The competition in the Indian mobile segment industry is scaling up each day. With the inclusion of more brands in this segment, even making difficult for big brands like Sony, LG to make their mark in India. Today at a media event in New Delhi, the Infinix Mobility has launched a new mobile called as Infinix Note 5. The phone has been launched by the company’s CEO, Anish Kapoor. Regarding the specifications of the devices, its configuration looks pretty decent on paper under the mid range price segment. Now, let us check the specifications for the devices in detail.
Infinix Note 5 Specifications
Infinix note 5 has been powered by Helio P23 Octa-Core processor with a frequency of 2.0 GHz. Its Helio P23 processor can be compared to Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor, but still, Snapdragon 625 delivers better results overall. The device is running on Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box coupled with Android One. The device Octa Core Helio processor has been supported by 3GB/4 GB RAM variants. In terms of gaming, it offers decent gaming experience with its Mali G71 MP2, but don’t expect too much as it will struggle to play a game like PUBG at higher settings, although it is playable at lower settings. The device has been launched in two variants 3GB RAM/ 32 GB Internal Storage and 4 GB RAM/ 64 GB Internal Storage.
Design & Display
Infinix Note 5 features Full HD+ ( 1080 X 2160 pixels ) resolution with 5.99 inches display. Its display offers the good brightness levels upto 500 nits. The device offers an aspect ratio of 18: 9 and pixels density of 403 PPI. The device does not offer in trend notch design, although it has an impressive screen to body ratio of 85 %. It also has a fingerprint scanner at the back of the device. Its sim card tray, power button and volume rocker have been placed at the right of the device with nothing on the left.
In terms of camera, Infinix Note 5 seems like running away from the league, as it does not offer dual camera setup at the rear end of the device. The device has a rear camera of 12 Megapixels coupled with dual LED Flash and an aperture of f 2.0. It also includes features and modes like Autofocus, HDR, Panorama, Touch focus. Its camera can deliver video recording of 2160p @30 fps. The device front camera is 16 megapixel which also supports AI technology and is also coupled with a dual led flash. It is AI-based camera offers some great pictures even in low lighting conditions.
For connectivity, the device offers dual sim setup and also has 4G VoLTE support on both sim slots. The storage on the device can be expanded with MicroSD card. With audio jack provided at the bottom of the device, you can listen to your favourite music on the go. Its connectivity options include Bluetooth 4.2, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi hotspot, Wi-Fi direct, A-GPS. The device comes with a 4500 mAh battery which can provide 3 days of juice with average usage.
