Instagram has secretly added a new payment feature to their platform. This new feature allows the users to book services within the app, but this new feature is currently available for limited users only. This feature has been first spotted by TechCrunch. It also allows users to add debit or credit card along with a pin number for additional security.

With the help of this new feature, few users have been able to book spa services and restaurants, with the help of a third party app for dinner reservation called Resy.

As we observe a lot of new businesses has been flourishing on the platform, so this app can be a perfect resort for the users who sell out various products for brands as an influencer as it will allow the users to make in-app purchases to buy their favourite products.

Instagram confirmed to The Verge that this facility will be currently available for limited businesses only. This payment feature has been planned by the Instagram in the March 2017, but it could not transform into reality. But the rollout has started beginning although it is still in a testing phase. This feature all together can change the way users and business profiles use this platform and can mark revolutionary changes.
