Kano Is The Latest Character To Join Mortal Kombat 11 Roster- NetherRealm Confirmed

Mortal Kombat 11 is just a couple of months away from its launch. NetherRealm has slowly started to introduce new and some old characters that will be in the game’s roster. The latest addition to Mortal Kombat 11 roster is the mercenary Kano.

NetherReal revealed him during a live stream in Brazil, but they didn’t release any gameplay. They did reveal an exclusive skin for Brazilian players. The skin name is Cangaceiro, and it matches the ascent of the bandits of Northeast Brazil late 19th and early 20th centuries.

Kano’s details and his appearance in Mortal Kombat 11 is currently is behind the curtains. It is unclear how Kano would affect the game’s story, but it wouldn’t be a surprise to see him in another grudge battle against Sonya Blade.

If we talk about his moves, in previous Mortal Kombat games, Kano’s signature moves were knife throw, eye laser, chokehold and Kanoball. Kanoball is his most popular manoeuvre. It makes Kano curl into a ball and fly toward his opponents. Kano can change his direction of flight during this attack.

If we look at the visual design of Kano, it has been visually downgraded from Mortal Kombat X which made the fans unhappy. NetherRealm had confirmed that the game featured the various options for character customisation. It will hopefully help the fans to add more details and looks to Kano.

With the addition of Kano in Mortal Kombat 11 roster, total nine characters have been confirmed. Kano has joined Scorpion, Baraka, Sonya Blade, Sub-Zero, Raiden, Geras, Skarlet and Shao Kahn who comes as a pre-order bonus.

As release date is coming near, more fighters should be announced in the upcoming weeks. Mortal Kombat releases on 23rd April 2019 for PC, PS4, Xbox One and Nintendo.
