E3 2018: Kingdom Hearts 3 Release Date Confirmed, Gameplay Trailer And More

After many years of anticipation, Kingdom Hearts 3 now have a confirmed release date. Square Enix announced the Kingdom Hearts 3 Release Date via Twitter just ahead of E3 2018. The game is the conclusion to the trilogy of games focusing on Sora, Donal and Goofy’s adventures. This game will expand the scope of Kingdom Heart Series.

Kingdom Hearts 3 Release Date

Last year, series creator Tetsuya Nomura stated its release window in 2018 at D23 event but now its been delayed and pushed to 2019. Kingdom Hearts 3 will release on 29 January 2019 on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. It will be released five days earlier in Japan.

Franchise director Tetsuya Nomura apologized for the delayed release date both at the concert and online.

“We’ve announced the release day for KINGDOM HEARTS III ahead of E3 at the KINGDOM HEARTS Orchestra -World Tour-. I’m sorry that we’re asking for a little more time than initially planned. Please look forward to other information, including a few trailers at E3. Thank you,” a written statement on Twitter attributed to Nomura explained.

This announcement was made in kickoff entry in the Kingdom Hearts Orchestra Tour 2018 just ahead of E3 2018.

Last Month Square Enix announced that Kingdom Hearts will be playable at E3 2018  as they will have a separate booth for the game.
