League of Legends Patch 9.9 notes- Biggest lol patch of the year brings Aatrox changes, Tahm Kench nerfs and more

League of Legends developers have released the patch 9.9 notes on April 30th claiming these to be the biggest patch notes of the year so far. With MSI around the corner, Rioters Paul ‘Aether’ Perscheid and Hanna ‘shio shoujo’ Woo paraphrased what changes Riot games have introduced in the patch 9.9 notes.

Once again, Riot Games have made some significant changes to the champions to ensure smooth and swift gameplay experience ahead of MSI. They have made some huge changes to Aatrox and Tahm Kench. Soraka has been evaluated with changes to provide her ally-focused support in the game.

Aatrox gets a complete makeover

New Passive makes champion less reliant on others for healing as mutilation has been removed and now passive heals Aatrox for bonus physical damage dealt.

His Q (The Darkin Blade ) has been buffed in both damage and cooldown while W also get a slight CD increase with 25% across all ranks.

Tahm Kench’s Devour changes might hurt you

Riot felt Tahm Kench’s devour too much for a basic ability so they have made some changes so that he will suffer a setback for protecting an ally with his devour.

From now onwards, when Kench will devour an ally, it will ground him and slow down him by 95% same as devouring an enemy champion. Its cooldown is now 20% for all ranks and refunds 50 percent of mana.

Tahm’s E no longer cost 50 mana, and now bonus from his passive has been restricted to 1.5% health increase at all ranks.

League of Legends patch 9.9 notes will be live on May 1st at 3:00 AM PT for NA, 5:00 UK time for EUW, and 3:00 CET for EUNE.
