LG Unveils G7 One and G7 Fit ahead of the launch at IFA
LG not only launched the LG Q7 smartphone in India today but also unveiled two other smartphones dubbed LG G7 One and LG G7 Fit. Both the smartphone has a similar form factor, the difference lies in terms of software, the G7 one is the company’s first Android One powered device and comes with Snapdragon 835 SoC while the G7 Fit is powered by a slightly lower processor the Snapdragon 821 and is also not an Android One device. Both of the phones will be launched at IFA 2018 which kicks off from 31st August.
LG G7 One :
The LG G7 One is Android one powered device based on runs Android 8.1 Oreo and it sports a 6.1-inch QHD+ FullVision display with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio that is it features a notch on the top of the display to house the front camera and sensors. The smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor which is not the latest but is quite powerful The phone has 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage, which can be expanded via a microSD card up to 2TB.
In terms of photography, the LG G7 One stacks a 16MP camera with a f/1.6 aperture on the rear panel. On the front, for selfies, there is an 8MP front camera with a f/1.9 aperture which has an 80-degree field of view to capture wider selfies.
Some of the features of the smartphone that are being touted are Google Lens integration, Hi-fi ‘DTS: X’ stereoscopic sound, a quad DAC chip and Boombox speakers. The smartphone is also rated Ip68 and is MIL-STD 810G military-grade certified.

LG G7 Fit
The G7 Fit features the same 6.1-inch QHD+ FullVision display with a 19.5:9 display with the notch on the top. The smartphone is housed by the Snapdragon 821 SoC paired with 4GB of RAM and 32/64 GB of storage which can be expanded up to 2TB.
The 64GB storage variant will be sold as LG G7+ Fit, while the 32GB of storage variant will be called LG G7 Fit. The phone is IP68 rated an comes with the MIL-STD 810G durability certification.
In terms of optics, the LG G7 fit stacks a 16MP camera with f/1.6 aperture on the rear side. On the front, for selfies, there is an 8MP front camera with a f/1.9 aperture. The configuration of the camera and all other features of the smartphone are same as the G7 one, the difference lies in terms of the software the as the LG G7 fit is not an Android One powered device and runs on Android 8.1 oreo with LG’s UI applied on top.

The price and the availability of both the smartphones are not known, yet as the phones, will be launched at IFA 2018 which is scheduled to take place between 31 Aug 2018 – 5 Sep 2018.
