Among all the games out there, Fortnite is currently the most popular battle royale game on the planet. We already have seen the launch of the popular game for the iOS devices, but still, Fortnite Mobile Android version is still in the works and there is not much information about the exact launch of the Fornite mobile Android version. There is a little information according to some reports which say that Fortnite Mobile Android version may launch exclusively for the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note 9, and which is all set to be revealed at the global event on 9th of August. Samsung Galaxy Note 9 will be the first phone to support Fortnite mobile Android version and it will be exclusive for the device for a period of 30 days, and after 30 days, it will be available on other devices. But, according to the Epic Games official website, even after the exclusivity period for Fortnite mobile is over for the Galaxy Note 9, it will be only available for a selected number of Android devices.

According to the official website of the makers of Fortnite, Android version of Fortnite Mobile will support about 40 selected devices at the initial launch. The devices included in the list are one of the latest but not all the latest, we have the second-gen Google Pixel phones, but not the first-gen Pixel devices. And major phones by the smartphone makers like, Samsung, Huawei, LG, and other. Smartphones like Google Pixel, Nokia 7, Sony Xperia XZ2, and even the OnePlus 6 and other OnePlus devices are not in the list, however, they are strong enough to support the game without breaking a sweat.

Mobile version of games like PUBG and Fortnite is heavy enough, and not all the Android smartphones will be able to run them smoothly, the minimum specifications for running the Fortnite Mobile on Android should have a decent processor, like Qualcomm Snapdragon 430, MediaTek MT6737, Exynos 7870, or HiSilicon Kirin 655 for the CPU or above, with the GPU support of Adreno 505 and Mali-T720 with at least 3GB of RAM. And all of the smartphones mentioned in the list support these specifications at least. And according to Epic Games, the list of the smartphones is short as the company is working continuously to test and optimize the Android version of the Fortnite mobile on the selected smartphones. And all of this will ensure a smooth gaming experience on the devices, which currently a problem with the Android version of the PUBG Mobile, which is not well optimized for medium-end devices.

You need not worry, as even the list for only 40 Android devices, if you are having devices like OnePlus 6, 5, 5T or any other device which has all the above-mentioned specification, you just need to wait till Epic Games launches another list for the compatible devices.
