Xiaomi Mi Pad 4 Confirmed to be powered by Snapdragon 660, 8-inch Display 

Xiaomi is all set to launch the Redmi 6 and Mi pad 4 at an launch on June 25. Now in the recent teaser, Xiaomi has shared an official render of Mi Pad 4 on its Weibo account, which confirms the processor that will be housed in Mi Pad 4.

As seen in the rundown below, the Mi Pad 4 will be powered by Snapdragon 660 chipset. The “smart game acceleration” on the poster demonstrates that the pad will be enhanced to deliver a better gaming experience. The octa-core chipset of SD660 can deliver a clocking speed of up to 2.2 GHz. However, leaked firmware files of the Mi pad 4 that had sprouted earlier this year claimed that its SD660 SoC could be underclocked to function at 2.0 GHz.The launch poster of the Mi Pad 4 had also revealed that the device would be supporting an 8-inch display with a full HD resolution like the previous models. The device may feature a slimmer form factor for better grip. It is speculated that the display of the tablet may support an aspect ratio of 18:9.

Falling in the line with earlier rumours, the Mi Pad 4 will be supporting a single camera of 13-megapixel on its back. On the front, there will a 5-megapixel camera. The tablet is expected to be backed up by 6,000mAh battery with support for 5V/2A charging. It will be running on Android 8.1 Oreo and it will be one of the first device to receive the all-new MIUI 10 update. However, there is no information on pricing of the tablet, as of now.
