Motorola recently shared a very short video announcing an event on 2nd August in its headquarter in Chicago on its Youtube account but didn’t say anything on what product(s) it will be announcing. Although it does tease us with the statement “a whole new way to connect, stream, download, video chat, and more”. However, it is expected that it will be introducing Moto Z3 or Moto One Power or both in that event. Motorola recently launched Moto Z3 Play which by no means is a flagship device, in fact, it can be thought of as an entry-level smartphone to the Moto Z3 series.
Moto Z series has always featured the flagship devices from the company. Not just that, Moto Mods are only supported by devices in this series which is also one of the reasons this series holds a special place in the smartphone market. We’re expecting the Moto Z3 to make some significant changes to the Z series, tooFor now, the only confirmed spec of the Moto Z3 is a Snapdragon 845 processor. It is expected to come with the same sized 18:9 display as the Moto Z3 Play but it is also possible that it has a notch as almost all the flagship devices this year have a notch. Following the trend, it will also be featuring the glass back design and dual camera at the back.
On the other hand, as leaks suggest Moto One Power will come with a 19:9 6.2-inch screen with a notch, dual 12+5 megapixel rear cameras, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of storage, and a 3780mAh battery. It will also carry the Android One branding. As per the AndroidHeadlines report, there’s another smaller variant of the Moto One Power handset dubbed the Moto One which will have, as the word ‘Power’ suggests, lower battery capacity than Moto One Power. There is no other clue about Moto One for now but it can be considered a smaller variant of Moto One Power.
