Mulk Trailer is finally out and this upcoming patriotic courtroom drama is said to star an acclaimed list of actors which includes Rishi Kapoor, Taapsee Pannu, Neena Gupta, Rajat Kapoor, Manoj Pahwa, Kumud Mishra, Ashutosh Rana, Prachee Shah Paandya, Vartika Singh, Ashrut Jain & Indraneil Sengupta in important roles. Directed by Anubhav Sinha and produced under the banner of Soham Rockstar Entertainment and Benaras media works.

What’s the buzz about Mulk Trailer?

It doesn’t take a prodigy to tell that what this patriotic courtroom drama will seek for, from both the communities. The trailer shows Rishi Kapoor as a Muslim man accused of harbouring a terrorist and Taapsee as a lawyer shielding Rishi Kapoor. Well, Mulk comes up with a hot and trending debate topic which is mushrooming worldwide that is how do Muslims prove their patriotism for the country?  Mulk Trailer shares a story of the time when Shahid Mohammed (Prateik Babbar) is found to be involved in a terror attack, his family members are harassed by the police and painted as terrorists. Lawyer Aarti Mohammed (Taapsee Pannu) steps in, resolute to clear the name of the embattled family, especially that of Shahid’s father Murad Ali (Rishi Kapoor)Prateik plays the misguided youth in Mulk. A social-thriller, based on true-life events is said to go on floors on 3rd August. Mulk trailer seems pretty much absorbing and grabs our attention towards the vision we make for every religion.

“I have always wanted to essay the role of an anti-national. Playing grey comes easy to me but I had to learn a lot of new things to portray terrorism in the right light,” the actor had said earlier. Rajat, who essays the role of investigating officer Danish Javed in the Anubhav Sinha directorial, said, “Danish Javed is interesting because of the context that is provided by the overall story – and not on its own. His conflict is one part of the larger thrust of the film.” “This is a film which we all have done with our hearts because of the topic it deals with. It’s purely a passion-driven project for each and every member of the cast and crew. The energies on the set were so good and it drove us all to finish the film in record time. It has been an extremely satisfying experience to do Mulk,” Taapsee had earlier said in a statement.
