After the most awaited reveal of Modern Warfare single player campaign mode, Infinity Ward is still keeping silence about multiplayer side of the game. Players are still wondering what to expect from the competitive modes of the game.
According to the previous reports, COD World League will be revamped in MW as COD eSports is transitioning to city-based franchised league for the first time.
New COD League details
Although, there is little information available about the new COD league. YouTuber ‘TheGamingRevolution’ claims to have insider knowledge about the modes which are going to available in the league.
According to him, the Call of Duty World League will include 5 game modes which are Hardpoint, Search & Destroy, Capture the Flag, Domination, and Infection.
While the other four modes have been featured in COD league at one point, the one that completely new is Infection which is apparently coming to Modern Warfare.
According to the YouTuber, the new mode is the reversed version of CTF. In spite of capturing the enemy’s flags, players have to bring their flag to the enemy’s base in this mode.
For those who are doubting the legitimacy of the details, YouTuber recently leaked a new mode coming to Modern Warfare called Gunfight, which ended up being confirmed today.
If these claims turned out true, then next season’s competitive format will feature two modes Hardpoint, Search & Destroy, and Control instead of one mode used in Black Ops 4 which only features Hardpoint.
