Nokia X6 with 19:9 Display Launched Globally As Nokia 6.1 Plus
HMD Global launched the Nokia X6 in China a few months back and now the device has been launched globally as Nokia 6.1 plus. The Nokia like most of the modern smartphones today features a Notch and is powered by and Snapdragon 636 processor. The smartphone is a part of the Google’s Android One programme that means it will receive at least next two versions of the Android.
Nokia 6.1 Plus specifications
Nokia X6 runs Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box and features a 5.8-inch full-HD+ display with a resolution of (1080×2280 pixels) with a 19:9 aspect ratio and has 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass 3 for protection on the top. It is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 636 processor coupled with 4GB of RAM. It is housed by 64GB of internal storage which can be expanded via microSD card up to 400 GB.
As per the Connectivity is concerned the smartphone includes 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a USB Type-C port. It has all major Sensors namely, accelerometer, ambient light sensor, digital compass, gyroscope, and proximity sensor. It also sports a fingerprint sensor on the rear side. Face unlock feature is also available.
The phone is fueled up a 3060mAh battery with support for fast charging (Quick Charge 3.0) and includes an 18W charger inside the box which can deliver up to 50 percent of charge in 30 minutes. The smartphone measures 147.2×70.98×7.99mm (excluding the camera bump), going up to 8.59mm with the lens and weighs 151 grams.

In terms of optics, the Nokia 6.1 Plus features a dual rear camera setup on the rear side with a 16-megapixel camera as the primary sensor and a 5-megapixel Camera as a secondary sensor which a monochrome sensor, with a f/2.0 aperture and 1-micron pixels. For selfies on the front, there is a 16-megapixel camera with the same f/2.0 aperture and 1-micron pixel.
The phone is equipped with tons of AI features for improved photography like optimised colour contrast, depth of field and portrait lighting effects, as well as face recognition and HDR support. Nokia’s exclusive Bothie feature is also available that let users utilise both front and rear cameras at the same time.
The smartphone is expected to go on sales on July 24 with a price tag of HKD 2,288 ($292) , Roughly Rs. 20,000.
