Oppo F9 Pro coming with a waterdrop notch & VOOC charging

Oppo, one of the biggest smartphone manufacturer is ringing the bells of innovation. This brand ranks in the top 5 smartphone vendors list on the global scale. The company presence in the Indian mobile market is increasing significantly and they lured the Indian consumers with tagline Oppo, the camera phone.

Today, the company has teased their upcoming phone Oppo F9 and Oppo F9 Pro on their official Indian and Malaysian Twitter handle with a tagline “The breaking new vision”. By observing the seven seconds teaser one can conclude that the company is teasing water drop based notch. We have also observed this notch in Oppo R17 mobile. It gives us a clear idea, that the company has a huge focus to provide a larger screen to body ratio to its users. The company has even highlighted the notch and calling it by a name “waterdrop” screen. As the notch, which sits on the top of the phone looks like a small water drop area, where the camera of the device will be located.

This looks like a strategy of the company to create a hype around Oppo F9 and Oppo F9 Pro. The phone will be released in Indian and Malaysian markets.

The company has highlighted one more feature of this device, which includes VOOC Flash Charge technology. With the use of this technology in the phone, the company is claiming that you will be able to talk a couple of hours on the phone with just 5 min of charge. Also, the phone OS will receive the AI features as seen in most of the devices.

What is VOOC Flash Charge Technology in Oppo F9 Pro?

Well, one thing to notice here is the company is claiming 2hrs talk with just 5 minutes of charge by utilising VOOC Flash Charge technology, but what exactly is this VOOC charging technology in Oppo F9 Pro. Well, it is similar to Qualcomm quick charge and One Plus Dash Charge technology. In this flash charge or rapid charge technology, its circuit lowers the temperature of the charging adapter which creates an interface from an adapter to phone improving the charging speed.
