Reliance Jio has introduced a new voice assistant with an update to its MyJio app for Android. The new assistant is called ‘HelloJio’ and it can be accessed via a mic icon in the top right corner of the MyJio app on Android. The assistant can be used in both Hindi and English languages and switching between both the languages is a breeze as a toggle is present at the right bottom of the HelloJio screen.
It appears that this feature is a phased rollout since it is not available for everyone despite running the latest build of the app. The HelloJio assistant can perform tasks like mobile recharges, bill payments, playing music and movies, launching Jio apps, making calls, etc. With that being said, it is currently being speculated that other regional languages might also be in the future for the HelloJio assistant; however, there’s still no word on a similar feature for the MyJio app on iOS.
However who will use it we don’t know as Google has is Assistant which just awesome and works very well and is quite simple to use ,why anyone will download a separate app for a assistant.
