The Samsung Chromebook Plus V2 takes all the positive aspects of a Chromebook and ups the ante for each of them. It now sports a 12.2 inch Full HD display with a pixel density of 185 PPI. The high-resolution display also supports touch and Samsung ships the notebook with a built-in pen that never needs to recharge. The pen is a haven for artists as it is fairly accurate and supports 4096 different pressure points.

Coming to the remaining features, it sports a 13 MP rear shooter with AF that can be accessed by placing the laptop in the tablet configuration and a 1MP front camera for Skype and occasional selfies.

The body is made of aluminium alloy and plastic and has special keyboard caps that can withstand water spillage. The edges are rounded so the laptop is comfortable to hold in the tablet mode. The laptop is pretty lightweight with a total weight of about 1.33 Kg.

Chromebook Plus V2 supports the latest Intel Celeron processor3965Y that can handle all the tasks with ease. It also comes with integrated Intel HD Graphics 615 for graphics-intensive tasks. It has a 32 GB built-in Storage with an option of expanding to 400 GB with an SD card.

It runs the Chrome OS natively so it has all the Google Web Apps built in, and also supports the Google Play Store so you don’t miss out on your favourite apps. Coming to the ports, Chromebook Plus V2 has a healthy selection of 2 USB Type C ports for charging and 4K output using an optional adapter, a full-sized USB 3.0 port, a microSD card reader and a 3.5mm headphone jack ( unlike a few other companies ). It also has dual bottom firing Stereo Speakers.

The price tag of $500 may seem a bit hefty but the superb build quality and attention to finesse justify it rather easily.  As for usability, Samsung Chromebook Plus V2 does most tasks which an average user requires, and then more. It is the perfect companion for people who use their laptops mainly for web browsing and media consumption.
