The Mobile World Congress 2019 is coming and the world’s top smartphone makers are already gearing up for the event. The Japanese Smartphone manufacturer Sony has begun sending invitations to its presentation on February 25 in Barcelona, where it should launch its next high-end smartphone, the Xperia XZ4.
In the Rundown below you can see that there is no direct mention to launch a smartphone but brings a small teaser indicating that a new mobile device will be presented during MWC 2019. Although it has not yet been confirmed by Sony, the existence of the Xperia XZ4 is nothing new and the device has already been seen in several leaks in recent months.
According to speculation, the smartphone will be equipped with a 6.5-inch display with a 21: 9 aspect ratio. The smartphone will feature triple rear cameras and will have the glass back which may indicate the presence of wireless charging.
Inside, the Xperia XZ4 could be housed by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor coupled with 256 GB of storage and 3,900mAh battery. Like every major release, Xperia Z4 will leave the factory with Android 9 Pie.
Earlier this month, an 8GB of RAM variant of the smartphone also appeared on the Geekbench benchmark and surprised it with its results. According to the information, the device achieved 3,497 points in the single-core test and 12,801 points in multiple core test.
Sony has not yet commented on the rumors surrounding its next top-of-the-line smartphone. By all means, we’ll have to wait until February 25 to know what the Xperia XZ4 really has to offer.
