Here are the Steps to Turn off Auto Complete URL in Chrome :

Step 1. First you have to open the settings of the Chrome. The option for which will be the three dots on the top right of your of Screen. So click on three dots than on settings and a new tab will open.

Step 2. Now scroll Down to the Bottom of the page, find and click on “Advanced”. This will open more advanced settings of chrome.

Step 3. Now there will be an option ( most probably 3rd) “Use a prediction service to help complete searches and URLs typed in the address bar”, so just switch off this option.

Step 4. Now you have to clear the history, so just scroll above to find History ( or just press CTRL+H) to access to it. Now select the “Clear Browsing Data” option and then select all the time.
