Unsane is a 2018 American psychological horror thriller film directed, photographed and written by Steven Soderbergh from a screenplay by Jonathan Bernstein and James Greer.
Unsane traverses the corridors of corrupt policies and paperwork that threaten to cut up and disembowel democracy. That the biggest surprise of the film is not a plot point at all but the appearance of someone famous in a cameo role, speaks volumes. Trailer succeeds in depicting the idea of what the director wants to portray, a victim of her virtual delusion been sent to a mental institution, where she was considered as insane without any proof and not letting her seek any help. It seems quite and scary as we can figure out the helplessness of Sawyer, trying to free herself from the institution and straining her nerves to find the way out.

Cast - Claire Foy as Sawyer Valentini, Joshua Leonard as David, Jay Pharoah, Juno Temple, Aimee Mullins, Amy Irving Synopsis - A young woman is involuntarily committed to a mental institution where she is confronted by her greatest fear-but it is real or is a product of her delusion? Foy (Sawyer Valentini) relocates from Boston to Pennsylvania to escape from the man who's been stalking her for the last two years. While consulting with a therapist, Valentini unwittingly signs in for a voluntary 24-hour commitment to the Highland Creek Behavioral Center. Her stay at the facility soon gets extended when doctors and nurses begin to question her sanity. Sawyer now believes that one of the staffers is her stalker and she'll do whatever it takes to stay alive and fight her way out.
