Recently the Chinese manufacturer Vivo has confirmed the happening of a launch event on June 12 in Shanghai, China. And here the wraps will be taken off from most awaited Vivo Apex concept which was showcased earlier this year. But today Vivo has posted an image on its Weibo account which confirms the launch of a smartphone named Vivo Nex and also the date that is June 12.
The above images suggest the handset will be featuring the breakthrough technology. As Vivo NEX is supposed to be the rebranded version of Vivo Apex will be likely to have half screen as fingerprint scanner and a screen with more than 90- percent of screen to body ratio without having the Notch-like most of the smartphone today.
Falling in line with other rumours, the vivo Nex will have to variants.
The Base variant will be housed by the Snapdragon 710 processor coupled with 6GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage and might feature a slightly different design by having a front camera on the right corner of the bottom bezel.
Another variant, the higher end model will be the true Vivo Apex concept by featuring as front camera will pops out of the smartphone. Not only this it will be housed by the lastest and fastest Snapdragon 845 processor coupled with 8 GB of RAM with an inbuilt storage of 256 GB.
The Vivo NEX is also said to have support for fast charging as 22.5 W and will feature a USB type C port which will make it the company’s first smartphone to support a USB type C port.
Talking about the price of the smartphone with SD710 model is expected to priced at 4,998 Yuan (~$779) and the higher variant with Snapdragon 845 may cost 6,998 Yuan (~$1,090).
