‘Wonder Woman 2’ Posters Created by Fans Out of WW84 Sequel Logo

The talks around DC’s highly anticipated sequel Wonder Woman has picked up some pace in last few weeks after the recent licensing expo. There DC revealed the logo with simple Wonder Woman text with an image of Wonder Woman off-screen. However, now it seems like Wonder Woman 84 (Wonder Woman 2) will be the title of the golden egg of DC universe. The WW84 tagline has started appearing on the official DC accounts on Twitter. Even director Patty Jenkins and Geoff Johns are supporting it. The tagline aptly goes with the earlier details shared by Jenkins during CinemaCon presentation where she revealed that the film will be set in the 80s.

Talking at the CinemaCon Patty Jenkins said that “Wonder Woman is an optimistic and positive character, This film set in the 80’s, she has to deal with the temptation of our world, and face extraordinary odds.” With this and now latest update regarding WW84 tagline appearing on official accounts, fans have started showing their creativity by creating insanely cool movie posters. Each poster is completely different from other which shows that how excited everyone is about the movie.

As for the sequel till now we are confirmed that Kristen Wiig will portray the role of Wonder Woman’s foe Cheetah alongside this there are rumours that Chris Pine might be returning to portray the role of Steve Trevor. Other than this while discussing the sequel Jenkins added that “The greatest thing about making this movie was the fact that you’re really building to the Wonder Woman that we all love, but not until the end of the movie.” Jenkins said. “The most exciting thing about [the sequel] is literally seeing her loose in the world now, living those classic stories. Here’s Wonder Woman, and what can she do?”

The excitement for Wonder Woman 2 is undoubtedly and we are waiting to get our hands on the latest updates. However, in the meantime, you can check out these cool fan-made (Wonder Woman 84) WW84 poster.

This poster by Ghothambatgram is simplistic yet very much stylish. The retro look and 3-D design add the depth to it. Wonder Woman logo covers most of the poster with WW84 text below. The fan also added a caption to WW84 poster saying “BREAKING NEWS: Geoff Johns reveals the title of Wonder Woman 2 as Wonder Woman 84! The film will, of course, be set in the 80s.”

This one uses the image from the Wonder Woman and nicely adds a warm filter to it making it pop. The WW84 poster also includes the star cast and the text WW84 sits perfectly on the poster with claw marks on it. The caption reads “Wonder Woman !!#WW84 #WonderWoman2 #GalGadot #PattyJenkins #DCEU@geoffjohns @PattyJenks”

This one goes all out the 80s with the pink and purple filter with little neon letters in it. She is standing war ready in her red, blue, and gold colours in complete glory. There is also some lightning in the background, however, this one misses out on the WW84 tagline. The caption reads “Hope you enjoy them. I made a typo on the last one, but I fixed it = )@PattyJenks @GalGadot @geoffjohns @DCComics @WonderWomanFilm #WonderWoman84 #WonderWoman2 #WW84”

This one is my favourite depicting Wonder Woman in all her glory with a closeup of Gal Gadot. The poster also has stylishly written WW84 in all gold with makes it pop on the black and white background. The caption reads “dceunited movie celebrates its one-year anniversary!!! This WW84 poster by antovolk stands out from others because of its simplistic design and this poster might get the closest design that is going to be revealed by DC in near future. The poster features the logo behind the new WW84 text, but perhaps the most important part is up at the top, which reads “From Director Patty Jenkins”.
