Xiaomi has launched two budget phones Redmi 5 and Redmi 5 Plus.
Both of these phones look spectacular in design and looks at an affordable price. Xiaomi has a history of performing well in budget price smartphones.
Xiaomi has launched two phones which have entirely frameless design, front cameras with flash, fingerprint scanner at the back of the panel and large capacity battery.
The phone is powered with 1.8 GHz Octa Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 processor in 2 GB/3GB/4GB ram variants with the storage capacity of 16 GB and 32 GB which can be extended to 128 GB with the help of MicroSD cards. It has Adreno 506 graphics chip. The device features 5.7 ” frameless display with the resolution of 1440 x 720 pixels and having an aspect ratio of 18:9. Furthermore, It features a camera with the 12-megapixel rear camera and 5-megapixel front camera. It has a battery capacity of 3300 mAh and has dual sim card slot, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi (802.11 b / g / n), Bluetooth 4.2 and GPS. The device runs on Android 7.1.2 Nougat with MIUI 9 skin.
The bigger model Redmi 5 Plus features 2.0 GHz Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor, an Adreno 506 graphics accelerator, a 3 / 4 GB of operative and 32/64 GB of internal storage. It has 12 also a megapixels main and 5-megapixel front camera and features 5.99-inch frameless display. The battery capacity of Redmi 5 Plus is 4000 mAH. The device runs on Android 7.1.2 Nougat with MIUI 9 skin.
Price of Redmi 5 is around Rs 12,800 in India and of Redmi 5 Plus is around Rs 16000 in India. The sale of the device will begin from December 12.
