Xiaomi launched its much awaited smartphone Mi 6X in China way back in April this year. And now the company is going to launch the global variant of Mi 6X, Mi A2. According to a report by MySmartPrice, Xiaomi is all set to launch Mi A2 in Spain on 25th July. It’s predecessor, Mi A1 was the first-ever Android One device from Xiaomi so we can expect that Mi A2 will also be launched under Android One program.
Xiaomi Mi A2 Variants:
The phone will be available in Black, Gold and Blue colour variants. Further, it will be available in four memory configurations. The base variant will be packed with 4GB RAM and 32GB internal storage, whereas a slightly costlier variant will have 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. Higher-end variants include a variant with 4GB RAM and 128GB internal storage as well as a variant with 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage.
The phone will have 5.99-inch, 18:9, Full HD+ IPS LCD panel protected by Gorilla Glass. The phone will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 chipset featuring a 2.2GHz octa-core CPU (4×2.2 GHz Kryo 260 + 4×1.8 GHz Kryo 260) and Adreno 512 GPU. The phone will ship Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box with a pure Android UI. The Mi A2 will sport a 12+20 MP dual-camera setup. The primary 12MP sensor will have a f/1.8 aperture and 1.25µm pixel size and the secondary 20MP camera will have f/1.8 aperture and 1.0µm pixel size. On the front, the phone will have a 20 MP camera with f/1.8 aperture for selfies and video calling. 3010 mAh has been used to power the device which also has support for support for Quick Charge 3.0. Other major features of the phone include Bluetooth 5.0, USB Type C port, a 3.5mm headphone jack and fingerprint sensor.
On the design front, there is nothing much to say here. The device will measure 158.88×75.54×7.3mm and will weigh about 168g. The phone will have a regular Xiaomi like design with slightly more curved edges.
