Fitness band is most sought these days by fitness lovers and Xiaomi wants to excel in this department with their brand new fitness band Mi Band 3. This new fitness band will be showcased at Xiaomi’s 2018 annual product launch event taking place at Shenzhen, China on May 31st.
Xiaomi’s senior Vice President Wang Xiang has tweeted officially, Mi Band 3 will be releasing along with MIUI 8 and MIUI10 on 31st May. Prior to this, at the launch event of Xiaomi’s Black Shark gaming phone, Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun was wearing Mi Band 3. After this incidence, the rumours of its release started speculating around the tech communities.

Mi Band 3 is likely to receive a touchscreen display and will feature gesture based actions, users can use a long press and swipe up and down on the touchscreen to perform various tasks. Mi Band 3 will have more rounded curved shape compared to Mi Band 2. It might get the support of colour display, but it has not been confirmed officially yet.
Xiaomi Mi Band 3
While tapping on the display screen, users can switch between the notifications. More features on the display screen can be accessed through swiping gestures. To initiate the search of a device for the pairing purpose, users have to make an elongated press on the capacitive key and screen will be unlocked by swiping on it.
Leaks and reports have suggested that it will get an IP 67 certified chassis and removable strap. The device will also get Bluetooth 4.2 and NFC support. Mi Band 3 will be loaded with the features like a heart rate sensor, step counter and sleep monitor.

There are also rumours suggesting Xiaomi will unveil Surge S2 which is an in-house chipset from the company and company can also announce Xiaomi Mi 8 SE smartphone
Earlier, Mi Band 2 has been really a grand success for the company, it would be interesting to see if Mi Band 3 can live up to its expectations.
