Xiaomi, the mobile giant has listed few phones for which this software update will last for them
Xiaomi has started rolling out MIUI9 update for it’s phones from November. The software updates for MIUI 9 os going in several batches, and will cover all models but gradually, which were released by Xiaomi earlier.
Now Xiaomi has decided not to provide further software support to below listed devices
1)Xiaomi Mi 2 / 2S
2)Mi Note
3)Mi 4i
4)Redmi Note 4G
5)Redmi 2
6) Redmi 2 Prime
All of these are from entry level segment of Xiaomi some of which were released 4-5 years ago.
The final update of MIUI 9 firmware will be available for all these phones till December 2017 and will cover all phone models gradually.
