YouTube VR App Now available for Samsung Gear VR headset

YouTube VR App Now available for Samsung Gear | Youtube Co – Virtual space

VR content is the future but there is a paucity of VR content and YouTube stands alone to have such content. However, YouTube isn’t available for most of VR headset Especially the renowned Samsung’s Gear VR headset. Not for long, though. According to an official blog, YouTube is finally bringing the app for the Samsung’s Gear which will help millions of the users to enjoy VR content on YouTube.

” We want everyone with a VR headset to be able to experience YouTube VR. It’s already available on Daydream View, HTC Vive and PlayStation VR. Starting today, we’re expanding access to millions of people with Gear VR headsets. You’ll be able to download the app from the Oculus Store for free starting this week.”

Not only this, YouTube also announced a new feature for YouTube VR app that will let users watch videos, discuss and chat in a Co – Virtual space. For example, users can ride a virtual car together. Isn’t cool? To access this feature, you have to tap the “Watch Together” icon present below the play controls on your Daydream View or Gear VR headset.

The app will be available for users to download over the next week. YouTube VR is said to bring more than 8 Lakh of videos this summer. YouTube also said if you are lucky enough you will be able to get a behind-the-scenes look into the lives of some of our other favourite musicians via the VR180 Rockstar VR series.
